Since its the holidays I have decided to actually use my own writting to fill the blog.
I have 3 exams next week and the first starts in 5 days. considering I have wasted about 7 days of study already this is not exactly a timely post, but one that is required for me to live.
The good thing about these mid-semester exams is that they are all multiple choice. Although what I have found, is that it does not make it any easyer. The first exam is the LOBA exam which is on monday. Accounting exam is on wednessday which is also hard. The last exam is Business statistics exam which is gona be piss easy and its only worth 5% so I can study for that next week.
Whats good about the holidays is that I can now have 2 days for accounting and 2 days for LOBA. And hopefully no distubances. The point is that now the only disterbances I have is from my self and all motivation etc must all come from me. Which is hard when you have so much flexability. So what did i do today to change the last couple of days. Well I just broke the day up into "sessions". Each session is 2 or 4 hours long. It is not dependent on what I do in that time rather it is a session of the day. eg. 8->12 then lunch 12->4 then snack 4->6 dinner 6->8 fruit/snack 8->10 as you can plainly see the day is broken up by food breaks. So far this has been working well. Tomorow is thursday and as everyday requires that I get up early to get the gym out of the way so I can do other stuff. Its not realy a system, just something I felt like doing today. Tomorow will proberly be a different system...

The Murali muddle is more than just cricket
The Wisden Verdict by Paul Coupar in Colombo
March 28, 2004
Chris Broad's decision to report Muttiah Muralitharan for a suspect bowling action will reverberate far beyond the cricket field in Sri Lanka.
There is genuine anger here. Not quite of effigy-burning proportions. But anger all the same. This seems odd, even absurd to some outsiders. But to understand the importance of Murali you have to understand a little about Sri Lanka.
For a start, cricket is the national game. It is said that the economy suffers when the national team plays, because attendances at work drop. For one-day internationals, this might be true. Certainly the cricket team is one of the focuses of national identity.
It also important to remember Sri Lankan history. It is a small island, about the size of Ireland. It was long subjugated. From the 17th century until 1948 it was ruled, in whole or in part, by foreigners. And even their post-independence history is troubled. Civil war broke out in 1983, and 65,000 people died. But Sri Lanka is now on the up, something that is the source of justifiable pride. Since a ceasefire in 2001, tourists and foreign investment have returned; GDP grew by 3% in 2002, and 5.5% in 2003.
So the country is delicately poised between a sometimes difficult past of subjugation, poverty and war, and the prospect of a bright future. In this society Murali is a potent symbol. He has taken more Test wickets than almost any other bowler. He is one of the world's most feared cricketers. Every time he takes the field he demonstrates that Sri Lanka can be the best. That makes him a powerful symbol of what the nation is capable of.
So when people say he cheats they are questioning something that goes deeper than cricket. This can be difficult for outsiders to understand. As one Englishman from Leicester told me in Colombo after the one-day series: "You wind them [Sri Lankans] up about him being a chucker but they don't get it. And you end up having to say 'No, he doesn't throw really. It was just a joke'."
For these reasons, Murali overtaking Courtney Walsh to become the highest wicket-taker in Test history is eagerly anticipated in Sri Lanka. He currently has 513 wickets to Walsh's 519. So he would surely have taken the record in Zimbabwe in mid-April. Although he is eligible to play, there have to be questions now about whether he will tour. And even if he does pass the record there, the shine will have been knocked off the achievement.
Many Sri Lankans will feel that this decision was timed to block Murali and allow the glory to go to Shane Warne, a white man. Several sets of officials, Sri Lankans protest, have passed Murali's doosra since it appeared in a new more vicious form against England in December 2003. Why does Chris Broad, they say, in his first series as a match referee, think differently?
Even this morning, before the story broke, a major national broadsheet, The Island, carried a waspish piece saying: "Match referees these days tend to be following double standards … it seems like the Aussies and the English could get away with anything." In such a volatile atmosphere, this will be a huge story. And one that's about more than a cricketer with a bent arm.

Voluntary Student Unionism
I am against voluntary student unionism, becuase it means less services... and as a student it makes sense to pool resources in this manner.
anyway...
One of the concessions secured in the negotiations to have recent higher education changes passed was the elimination of Voluntary Student Unionism (VSU) from the package. However, the Liberal government has recently reneged on this deal and announced its intention to introduce the VSU Bill. This issue will be debated in the next few months.
VSU means that membership to your student organisation is not automatic upon enrolment rather, students opt in. Our current system of universal membership means that all students become members upon enrolment - this ensures that students remain in control of student affairs and student unions are able to provide the many essential services and representation to its members. Where VSU has been introduced it has had devastating effects. At Curtin Uni in WA the unions membership income was reduced from $3million to $100 000 and as a result departments such as womens, queer, and disabilities were closed down. For more information on VSU please visit www.guildonline.net/getpolitical
The Education Action Group and Student Guild is encouraging all students to write to the independent senators (Len Harris - QLD, One Nation; Brian Harridine - TAS; Shane Murphy - TAS, former ALP; Meg Lees - SA former Democrat).
The result will depend on the independents as the ALP and Greens will vote against the bill.
We will also be placing petitions on EAG Stalls and Student Guild Information Centre Desks.
So please send an e-mail to each of the independent senators and sign a petition. (There is an example leter below.)

Dear Senator [Insert Senator's Last Name],
As you are aware the Government has again raised the spectre of voluntary student unionism. I know that in the past you have shown good judgement and rejected this policy. I thought that I would write to you to reiterate why voluntary student unionism is an extremely flawed policy in order to reinforce your opposition to it.
Universal membership of student organisations is necessary to fund the many essential services that such bodies provide to students. For example, each year the QUT Student Guild successfully assists hundreds of students appeal their exclusion from the University for poor academic performance. Many of these students are from rural and disadvantaged backgrounds who have had trouble adapting to life at a major urban university. Without the help of their Student Guild they would be forced to leave without a degree. The Student Guild also runs an employment and accommodation service that is of particular use to disadvantaged students, especially those from a rural background who desperately need to find a place to live and a job to support themselves. Other examples of the valuable services the QUT Student Guild provides includes: free legal advice, free centrelink advice, free advocacy in disputes with the University, and subsidised childcare. QUT Student Guild representatives also sit on various University boards that make decision that effect all QUT students to ensure that their rights and interests are taken into account.
Under voluntary student unionism these services would not exist. The QUT Student Guild plays a similar role to a local council in that it charges a levy that is used to provide a number of essential services to the community which it represents. As everyone benefits from the services the QUT Student Guild provides everyone has an obligation to make a contribution. It is interesting to note that the ACCC has recently ruled that the public benefits of universal students unionism outweighs any disadvantage. Further numerous court cases in Australia have ruled that universal membership of student is not an infringement of one's rights to freedom of association. It is also important to state that students at QUT and in most other Australian universities can already opt out of membership to their student organisation by becoming a conscientious objector.
I sincerely hope that you will resist all attempts by the Government to introduce VSU.
Kind regards.

Pakistan win despite Tendulkar's ton:
"Sachin Tendulkar emulated Inzamam-ul-Haq's Karachi heroics with a dazzling 141, but it wasn't enough to inspire India to an improbable victory after they were set 330 to win by Pakistan at Rawalpindi. Shoaib Akhtar, playing his 100th one-day international in front of his home crowd, winkled out India's lower order as they fell 12 runs short at the finish. "

"In 1940, Isaac Asimov invented the 'Three Laws of Robotics'...
1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law."

delivery on the pads, Khan misses out and the ball hits the pad
and falls dead on the track
Ganguly comes forward and has a word with his bowler
49.2 Nehra to Naved-ul-Hasan, one run, pitched up on the middle and leg,
driven down to the long off region, just the one run, tension
mounts!
Pakistan require another 8 runs with 3 wickets and 4 balls
remaining
Moin Kahn is the perfect man for thse situations, can he take
Pakistan to victory here?!
49.1 Nehra to Naved-ul-Hasan, no run, dot ball! short delivery on the
middle, Hasan swings hard but makes no contact
Pakistan require another 6 runs with 3 wickets and 1 balls
ARRGH
Pakistan require another 9 runs with 3 wickets and 6 balls remaining
And like I predicted Nerha will bowl the last over
We are all doomed
And like I predicted Nerha will bowl the last over

over 49
Pakistan require another 17 runs with 4 wickets and 12 balls remaining
since zahre is bowling the second last over and Balaji already has had his ten who is going to bowl the last over?
Nehra?
I think Ganguly has stuffed it up just a bit....

India vs. India
Today India and Pakistan are play cricket for the first time in ages. So far India have scored 349 runs, which is realy good.
However because India are stupid they are likely to throw the match away in a way only they can. As I write this its the 46th over and Pakistan only need 28 runs with 21 balls to go and lets not forget they still have 5 more batsmen to come.
I just wonder why India can make such big scores and still not be able to win the match.

XML dirven Flash
XML dirven flash seems to be the only way to extract any usefullness out of flash. Of course my website now have an XML feed.....
p.s. Dont worry I wont be doing anything like that untill I can get the XML to work in old fashioned HTML (compliant of course)

I found this realy cool Flash script with displays map coordinates on a world map and all you have to do is insert that information into an XML file. How cool is that. Plus its using Flash (and people say that flash is useless). Plus its using XML (and people say that XML is only for enterprise).

Gawker
Gawker is editorialisation of NY citys news, not only that it provides its own take on NY etc... Making it a good source of information if you're in NY. I propose that all major citys should have something like this or maybe in Australia (because we are small in number) just a national one. Its run by a small team of people who have the same dream of blogging... (becuase you can)

The answer: Community websites?
essays :: weblogs: a history and perspective: "I don't have an answer. In our age the single page website of an obscure Turk named Mahir can sweep the web in days. But the unassailable truth is that corporate media and commercial and governmental entities own most of the real estate. Dell manages more webpages than all of the weblogs put together. Sprite's PR machine can point more man-hours to the promotion of one message--'Obey Your Thirst'--than the combined man-hours of every weblogger alive. Our strength--that each of us speaks in an individual voice of an individual vision--is, in the high-stakes world of carefully orchestrated messages designed to distract and manipulate, a liability. We are, very simply, outnumbered."
Maybe Community Website could help counter act this by facilitating more into one individual "blog" a bit like seti...
However I still think Individual blogs could be usefull, because they can provide news where there was no news. As in reporting and reviewing things we actually see. Of course searching through this mess to get the information we want will be hard.

The reason why its broke
essays :: weblogs: a history and perspective: "So why doesn't every bookmark list contain five weblogs? In the beginning of 1999 it really seemed that by now every bookmark list would. There was a bit of media attention and new weblogs were being created every day. It was a small, quick-growing community and it seemed to be on the edge of a wider awareness. Perhaps the tsunami of new weblogs created in the wake of Pitas and Blogger crushed the movement before it could reach critical mass; the sudden exponential growth of the community rendered it unnavigable. Weblogs, once filters of the web, suddenly became so numerous they were as confusing as the web itself. A few more articles appeared touting weblogs as the next big thing. But the average reader, hopefully clicking through to the Eatonweb portal, found herself faced with an alphabetical list of a thousand weblogs. Not knowing where to begin, she quickly retreated back to ABCnews.com."
Its just the most credible answer I can find.

Maybe I need a business plan
Some reasons I started blogging:
1. Practice Writting
2. confidence in writting
3. having a point of view (maddox)
4. Being creative (toothpastefordinner)
a journey of self-discovery and intellectual self-reliance.

Reintergration?
essays :: weblogs: a history and perspective: "Certainly, both styles still exist; certainly the particular mixture of links, commentary, and personal observation unique to each individual site has always given each weblog its distinctive voice and personality; and certainly the weblog has always been an infinitely malleable format. But the influx of blogs has changed the definition of weblog from 'a list of links with commentary and personal asides' to 'a website that is updated frequently, with new material posted at the top of the page.' I really wish there were another term to describe the filter-style weblog, one that would easily distinguish it from the blog. On the principle of truth in advertising, this would make it much easier for the adventuresome reader to find the type of weblog he most enjoys."

Its a journal stupid
The reason I originaly started blogging was to firstly be able to articulate what I was thinking/feeling, I couldnt do this in D-news becuase it had 'expectations' which is the reason for its separation (not to mention the relavence).
Now that I think about it, what is the point of actually writting all this down? who even cares? Will I even read it?
Back to sanity... I think in a sence my own weblog experiance follows with the history of blogging (disregarding the fact that I am lagging)
"The original weblogs were link-driven sites. Each was a mixture in unique proportions of links, commentary, and personal thoughts and essays. Weblogs could only be created by people who already knew how to make a website. A weblog editor had either taught herself to code HTML for fun, or, after working all day creating commercial websites, spent several off-work hours every day surfing the web and posting to her site. These were web enthusiasts." (History of weblogs)
[Note to self: look into microcontent]

"A blog is a web page made up of usually short, frequently updated posts that are arranged chronologically" (Blogger.com, 2004)
I think what is more important now what I will use the blog for. I already have a blog for news/links/comentray etc
This is just a personal blog, of well I hate to say it but...: Ramblings, musings, feelings, what am i doing/feelings/listening/reading/not doing/hoping to do type blog. I guess when I say it like that I dont like blogging. Which is why I am searching for a different definition.

Create
Create is normaly associated with artistic things or as the implicit meaning goes, anything we make.
So a blog is realy about the recent past.
To make it easyer for my small mind to comprehend all this, and to try and clarify it in such a way it makes sense. I think it would be best to look at it from the perspective of just one entry and not thing about the archiving purposes just yet.

So what do I have to say
The next question I ask my self is what do I do in this 'space'?
Write? [see title stupid]
I realy dont know. Anyway.... The seperation of the bloggers cycle has enabled a more effeciant blogger cycle with a smaller down period, becuase it is not (shouldnt be....) linked to closely to emotion. Therefore it makes the product, in this case D-news more accessable to the market and is just a better product because of it.
From this we can summerise that seperating the bloggers cycle out of the blog into a seperate blog (D-news) to satisfy my need for "interesting" news and the need to archive and collect it like old people do with news papers (but in a more enviromentaly and physicaly less exhausting fashion) and the other need to look like I have something interesting to say. (getting closer).
Summerising the summary into a conclusion brings us to the fact that D-news is hella cool and purely for the public domain. However, what is apparent is that people do not find the ramblings/etc of anyone talking to them selves the least bit interesting (except maybe to stalkers and voiourists). Hence we have now taken the bloggers cycle out of the blog.
This still leaves us with what is supposed to go here...
Logic will tell us that we just wack in everything else that is not news or anything that I create. [essentialy whats been happening in our lives; Such as new purchases, how we are feeling etc...]

This is my blog and I can write what ever I like here.
Now that I have seperated the dreaded bloggers cycle from this blog (bean counting) and called it D-news. I have now found that this blog is now lacking, in comparison with D-news.

The House of Sand and Fog
Today I went to go and see the movie "The House of Sand and Fog", to try and get out of the heat wave (40+) but what happens when we get into the actuall theater. The air conditioning breaks down. So for about 2.5 hours we (Karl and I) had to sweat it out in sauna like conditions.
Anyway, the movie is the best that I have seen in a long time and is proberly better than Goodbye/buy Lenin or Mystic River (best movies of last year). I also dont expect any other movies this year to top this one. I guess the full effect of the movie was taken away somewhat by the heat/sweat/no airconditioning [note: I think it must have been at least 45 in there because it was closed in]. I guess this highlighted the length of the movie (2:25) and maybe could of shortened the second half, although it kinda added to the effect (artistic effect). If it wasnt so hot I wouldnt complain about the heat, in fact if the air conditioning was working I would proberly say that it wasnt long enough.
I dont want to spoil the movie untill it comes out on DVD so I wont tell you what happens (I'm actually thinking of seeing it again/unless I can find another movie worth seeing).

I give this movie 9D/10D

D-news -> Another funtastic way to get news
Another revelation for D-news [www.dnews.tk]. If you havent been following whats been going on then first read this then check out the new/s stuff.
Firstly I would like to bring to your attention that D-news now is available in your in box. Just go to here and sign up and D-news will automaticly arive in your inbox, just like magic. Alternativly you can send an email to [d-news-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.au] and that will also subscribe you.
At the moment I am using yahoo as its fully magical and does everything for me, but since for some reason I dont like it, maybe because its not a proper email thingo, but it works and thats the main thing.
Another development is the new design thats I am using for D-news. Guess what? Its the same as the main site. YAY...>...
Wait theres more. Blogger has introduced an RSS/XML feed for everyones blogs, so now you can use that as syndication or use it in a news agregator.
Dont forget to check the news at www.D-news.tk for all relavent news stuffs.

The Last Samurai: "I'm actually glad that my mum doesnt have a fast car."
Today I saw a movie called: "The Last Samurai". It was a very entertaining movie, bordering on comedy. Which is quite different to what the advertisements were proposing.
On the way home there was an evil driver, trying to (unsucessfully) do a burn out at the trafic lights while turning right (dual lane). In the process almost taking us out. So I proceeded in my usual manner to beep the horn in a fasion that I have decided to use.....
Anyway, this time for some reason I also decided to use the throtle as well (hesitently) which basicly cost me any chance of catching up. I disregarded the safety of my passengers which was wrong (the hesitation [it had also rained]) and I had forgoten my rule of "what will it achive" which I use in times of road rage. I beeped and shouted which I think is fine, but the whole acceleration thing is not.
I'm not sure what will happen next time, as there may not be hesitation..... What I am sure of is that it will happen again.
Latley I have not been able to pull my self into line, which is a worry. Most of this I attribute to going to the cricket, where I have learnt alot about society, the world and my self. Its been a gradual process where everytime I go, I learn something new, lets just hope we get a third final (Brisbane) and the process gets finalised.
I also watched a documentary earlier today about childen in Isreal/West Bank and what they think of their situation (only reinforced what I thought....) which may also have attributed to the impetus of todays Incident.
Ofcourse it could be as simple as wanting to just say a few words to the moron so some acceleration was required to do so..... also by accelerating it makes the other driver feel that I am pushing them, so they then drive faster (and hopefully die....). [Sometimes I wish I had been born at a different time]
Finaly I would also like to appologyse for the airy fair structure, after you have seen "the last samurai" you will understand.

Its just not cricket
What i dont understand is why the Australian media need to do this. Its not like australia has a crappy cricket team. They are the best, everyone knows this. Why do we need so much bias in favour of Australia, isnt the good performance enough. Or does the public realy need that much protection or they will break out in a national day or mourning.....
"The Australian media are, of course, entitled not to extend him the benefit of the doubt. But considering how eager they were to forgive Ware, whose patching-up of a damaged portion of the pitch was a deliberate act, on the grounds that it was an "honest mistake", it does smack of duplicity."
A bit more leway is needed

Australia clinch a thriller at the SCG
With the D/L system that they use its much easyer for the team batting second to win, I realy think they need to change that, so its more fair, or atleast gives the bowling side more opportunitys and incentive to do somthing. Having less overs to bowl them out doesnt exactly help, in fact it just helps the batsmen, as they do not have to stay there as long.
In anycase it was a good match. And for India to come so close with the D/L system is quite remarkable.

India Won again
Once again India has won, this time against Zimababwe. It rained a bit, but didnt realy effect the overall result. I also met up with some people from uni who were going to the cricket for the first time.....
Dravid is being accused of ball tampering, but from what I saw, he was licking the ball and the cough lolly got stuck too it. Then he tried to take it off. It was bascily nothing to worry about, becuase I dont think a cough lolly could of helped them anyway.
I got quite involved yesterday and even had my own mob/crowd, which was fun.

INDIA JEETAGA!
YAY! India won at the cricket today. And surprisingly it wasnt as bad as I thought it might be....
Anyway. It was a very fun day, as was yesterday when Karl, Jonathan and I went to go see Regurgitator for free at the powerhouse, which was also a lot of fun. It was loud but the atmosphere was good.
Back to the circket: Also there is more cricket on tuesday when India will play Zimbabwe, which I will also attend. Hopefully I can get some batterys for the camera this time so I can take some pictures.

My hand hurts....
No not from that.............................
Rather I just had my GBS exam today. The exam it self was ok, the problem was the amount of writting. Eight questions each had to be two hundred words. Thats a total of sixteen hundred words and we only had two hours and we also had to read about four A4 pages of text.
By the end of it i had to hold my pen in my fist to write. I should of spent more time doing hand exercises than actually studying for the exam, as that was the first thing that went.
Next week got two exams, finance and data analysis.

RIP mobile; here comes data: ZDNet Australia: News & Tech: Communications
“Why would you pay over a thousand dollars on a handset just to send a mini photo to your mother, who also by the way has to have a handset worth a thousand dollars in order to see it,” Budde said. “It just doesn’t make sense.”

Ka$aa
I just went looking for a new version of kazaa lite. The version of kazaa without the spyware/adware and what happens. kazaa lite is now asking for money
Kill Bill
Went to see KB yesterday. It was ok only a 6/10 for me but there is part to which I will definatly go see. Its pretty funny how all the blood just sparys every where when ppls limbs get cut off. The yellow outfit that the Bride was wearing reminded me of some Bruce lee movie and the scene where she hacks her way through hundreds of bad guys was matrixescue (II), when neo has to fight hundreds of agent smiths. Of course neo ran away but the bride kills everyone. One of the best scenes in the movie was when the lights turn off and they have to fight in the dark.
It was bloody good.
It was bloody good.
"Touch me".
Another webby thing thats bothering me is when you goto beancounting.tk it seems to cut off most of the posts. Currently I have set it to the last 21 posts are view able, before I had it on 30 days so maybe I should change it back to " x days" to make it work, funny how blogger cant count, i would of thought that calculating the date would be more difficult, they proberly just use a filter anyway.
The problem isnt with blogger.com its with dot.tk because u can view this page at beancounting.blogspot.com normaly, but at beancounting.tk its not that great....

CGI cap
Apparently Netfirms has a cap on how much CGI you can use, which is proberly the reason why my site has broken down. As you are proberly aware of I was tracking what links people clicked on through a cgi script called AXS which also tracks page hits and give a "map" of whats happening on the website. I've just updated the website and I was testing it out becuase of the and none of the links with cgi work except for pages not on my site. But when I goto the script its still working just the links dont work, and there are links that used to work but now dont (if that makes sense). May have to stop tracking internal links and just stick with intuition....
Its not that bad
One of the things that I have noticed from photoblogs is that you dont see too many photos of the rain. It maybe because it doesnt rain that much here but that shouldnt be a reason not to take pictures of the rain.
I'm looking outside right now and it looks like its gona rain, when it does I'm gona take a picture. I'm hoping that the rain will show up and not just become a hazy mess.

Yesterday was Jonthans birthday, so I went over to his house for dinner etc, we played monopoly and because (as I have said all along) that when I am banker I loose. This time Jonathan won despite our efforts void is deals. Anyway the point is not to be banker. In the end Jonathan didnt even eat any of his birthday cake, so Karl ate it for him. Oh yeah, pictures were taken, which lead me to a new idea for the interweb. I call it 'PhotoBlog'. Basicly its a blog of pictures that I take, it could even be a team blog and then Jonathan and I can leach of Karls semi-pro photo skills with pictures of our respective cats.....
To get things rolling here is some pictures I have already taken. EXPOSURE

I just got this commnting system to work. But a key feature that should be included is email notification but that doesnt seem to be included in any of the systems, which realy sucks.
This week is the final week of uni before exams start and I havent even started studying yet, but thankfuly this semester my exams are spread out, with about a week between each exam ^_^

I think I'm having my period
I always have lots of ideas, but when I goto write them down my mind
becomes blank. The reason for this is becuase its just a day dream. If only
it were true.
Whats annoying me at the moment is that I am finding it hard making new
friends but, maybe the problem isnt me its everyone else.
eg -> This guy that I had to do my oral presentation with we also had to do
another assinghment anyway I told him that maybe we should goto the library
and divide the work up but he never turned up and then he emails me this
half finnished word document which I had to fix up and basicly do the
assinghment all by my self.
So I was thinking why has this situation eventuated. I already had a few
friends that I sit with in the company accounting lecture and Hoi also
comes to the same lecture, but for some reason he prefers to sit by
himself.
This is what has lead me to the conclusion that I am not the problem,
rather its everyone else who doesnt want to go out from their comfort zone

The 'D' stands for dead
Its been about 2 months since the last D-news and I am finding it increasingly difficult to even find news that is:
1. Interesting
2. Remotly funny
Also there are so many people out there doing blogs on a specific subject, that if you wanted to know something then they give you more detail and more links on whatever subject is. D-news started with weird/freaky news that was real. Recently this is either unfunny or there just isnt enough crazzy shit going on in the world (mainly becuase of all this "war" thing thats been going on).
D-news is a NEWSletter not a website. So from now on just vist here untill I figure out what to do with my website. I figure I can put my photos/drawings and other stuff there. I think I just repeated my self....

The end signifys the beggining
Today I started making drum loops in FruityLoops. Its ok for making small loops but I find it difficult to use to put a track of significant lenght. Anything more than ten seconds seems to be too much of a hassel, so now I have to find more software. I tried using coolEdit but I dont think its realy made for that purpose.
I HATE FLOPPY DISKS
Have you noticed how the smart people that have a GPA of 6.25 never talk about "aarrgghhhh I'm gona fail" and even if they do they dont stress about it.
Weird
Weird
I'm singing in the rain
Today was a long day and conveniently followed on from yesterday. It was raining, so I had to find my rain coat, then I missed the bus so had to walk all the way to the shops to catch the bus and of course my assinghment is due today at 10am.
So I get to uni at 10:45, I get my self a computer and click print. Goto the printer room. I got no credit. Goto the library get some credit go back to the printer room and run the assinghment up to the box 7 minutes late. But I think I got it in on time, they always give a bit of leaway.
Of course as usual there was no bread so I couldnt pack any lunch so I had to go buy some. AAARRRGGGHHH its so expensive. Then I goto my last accounting lecture which was kinda good, not that hard today just some foreign currency transaction translations (spot or avg).
Then went for some more lunch becuase we (Kapil and I) had 30 mins untill GBS. Then it was off to the dragons lair and there was much rejoicing.
And finnaly I had the tutorial for GBS which was crap, she gives us a break, then we come back and gives us some stuff todo, then she buggers off somewhere for 30 minutes so some of the guys left early and when she came back she was quite annoyed, so now shes going to give them zero for not staying the whole time. Which is pretty lame if you ask me.
I was supposed to start studying over the holidays, but since I got a headache and a nice blend of general procrastination and conincidence I got nothing done, now I only have 2 weeks to prepare for my first exam which is for GBS. Its a pretty tough exam, 50% total marks but the main thing is we have to do 5 essays each one 200 words and we only get 2 hours.....
I all ways goto these study seminars and this week there is one on final exams and of all the luck it becomes booked out. ARGH!

The Weekend
Today we were supposed to go and see the League of Extraordinary Gentelmen (LEG) but were not able to because of transport issues. Maybe tomorow mum will let me take the car. Anyway, the day once again started good but then I got my headache again so not much was done.
I am still hopefull I can find my article for GBS and check my accounting assinghment. That means tomorow will be used for LEG and monday for doing the tutorial work hmmm.... actually thats not realy enough time. Better get to it then.

The Blue Sky
This morning was quite nice with the sky looking extra blue today. The day promised to be such a great day, with assinghments on track and the hope of getting stuck into some revision. That all sudenly came unstuck when I had a headache and ended up spending most the day rolling around on the floor in pain. Its about 10pm now and thankfully the pain has gone so now I can get some sleep, basicly its another day of the holidays wasted when I realy needed it.
Once again I am shown the way by not being able to plan for contingencys such as this.
Isn't life grand....
